This is a good collector’s find. The majority of these flute like ocarinas were sold in the US in 1879. It is a flute type clay instrument producing a soft, hollow sound. Heinrich Fiehn was originally a german wagon maker in Vienna, Austria, who became popular with his ocarina, first made in 1879. This item is in as found condition, it has an area w the makers name is stamped “H. Fiehn Vienna Made in Austria” and another area where there are two round overlapping stamps reading 1879  which is visible.
